Joffrey is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer for Concordia Exchange. He has worked in the financial services industry since 2002 with a focus on investments, retirement planning, insurance planning, and employee benefits. He began his career as a financial advisor for a Fortune 100 company and then went independent and founded Joffrey Smith Financial Group in 2009. He has served as the CEO, where he increased assets under management, revenues and profits by over 100% in the last three years. Joffrey holds 5 top designations in the industry, including the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™. He is a qualifying member of the Top of the Table of the Million Dollar Round Table, for which less than 1% of financial advisors worldwide qualify. Joffrey was a recipient of the 40 under Forty award by the Worcester Business Journal and was also selected as one of the Top 25 To Watch by Pulse Magazine. At 24 years old, Joffrey became the youngest person ever elected to the Worcester City Council in Worcester’s history, the second-largest city in New England. He was elected to three two-year terms in 2005, 2007, and 2009. The Governor of Massachusetts appointed Joffrey to the Board of Trustees of the State Library of Massachusetts, where he served from 2008-2014. Joffrey earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cornell University and an MBA from Queen's University. He was awarded the Degree with Distinction for being in the top 10% of his class. He is also a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration while majoring in Economics and Finance and minoring in Sociology. He was also a recipient of the Senior Book Award, given to the top senior in the Business School, and played Division 1 baseball there. He has appeared as an actor in many movies, TV commercials, and print advertisements. Joffrey serves on numerous Boards and enjoys staying active and playing sports such as baseball or skiing when he is not traveling in his free time.
